Meet The Team

Corey Cantrell

Corey is no stranger to service. An Army veteran who served with the 4th Infantry Division, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Fort Carson, Corey carries the discipline and dedication he learned in the military into everything he does today. After receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2017, he set his sights on blending two passions—coffee and community.

In 2020, Corey launched Campfire Coffee as a humble trailer with a big vision: to create a place where people could slow down, connect, and share a cup that feels like Colorado. His entrepreneurial drive has fueled the company’s growth, even as he began a new chapter of service as a Colorado State Trooper.

While his trooper duties keep him busy, Corey still pops by the trailer from time to time, swapping stories and pouring coffee for customers who’ve become more like family. His dual commitment—to protect and to serve, both on the road and behind the counter—reflects the heart of Campfire Coffee: service, community, and adventure in every cup.

Anissa Cantrell

For Anissa Cantrell, coffee has always been about more than a great cup—it’s about connection. While studying nursing, she discovered a love for bringing people together, both in the classroom and while working at a local coffee shop. There, she learned the craft, honed her skills, and shared that passion with her husband, Corey. Together with Corey’s brother, Jacob, she helped spark Campfire Coffee into life in 2020, starting with a mobile trailer that quickly became a Colorado Springs favorite.

After earning her BSN in 2021 and welcoming her first child in 2022, Anissa stepped fully into her role as the driving force behind Campfire Coffee. Today, she leads daily operations with creativity and care—developing new recipes, mentoring the team, and ensuring every customer feels at home.

Balancing her roles as a mother, RN, and entrepreneur, Anissa is the backbone of the brand. Her vision, dedication, and passion for both family and community continue to shape Campfire Coffee into a place where warmth, adventure, and connection are brewed fresh every day.

Jacob Franklin

Jacob brings both service and spirit to Campfire Coffee. An Air Force veteran who served at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jacob was honorably discharged in April 2023 and quickly turned his full focus to the family business.

Since day one, Jacob has been hands-on in growing Campfire Coffee from a humble mobile trailer into a community staple—serving events, schools, businesses, and farmers markets across El Paso County. His deep passion for the craft fuels his vision for the future: roasting unique coffee blends that carry the same adventurous spirit the brand was built on.

Dedicated to both quality and community, Jacob is committed to expanding Campfire Coffee’s reach while keeping its roots strong as a family business. For him, every roast is more than coffee—it’s a chance to share connection, adventure, and a little Colorado warmth in every cup.

Our Philosophy

At Campfire Coffee, we believe there’s something timeless about gathering around a fire. For as long as people have shared stories, laughter, and reflection, the campfire has been a place of warmth, comfort, and connection—a place to belong.

That same spirit lives at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s catching up with an old friend or striking up a conversation with someone new, a cup of coffee has the power to bring people together.

Here in Colorado, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and a vibrant community, connection is part of daily life—from mountain trails to busy city streets. We’re proud to reflect that culture at Campfire Coffee: a welcoming space where stories are shared, friendships are built, and adventure begins.

Just like a campfire draws people in, our coffee invites you to pause, stay awhile, and connect—one cup at a time.

Our Mission

At Campfire Coffee, we’re driven by perseverance, passion, and a love for connection. Our mission is simple: to craft exceptional coffee that fuels both adventure and community.

We believe every cup tells a story—linking the farmer who grew it, the hands that roasted it, and the friend sitting across from you. That’s why we’re committed to quality that lasts, experiences that matter, and a welcoming space where everyone feels at home.

With each pour, we aim to do more than serve coffee—we invite you to pause, recharge, and share in something greater.
